    • 1. When to buy an Extended License

    Please read the Standard License Agreement in detail before you purchase an Extended License. Below you can find the most relevant Do's and Don'ts from the Standard License Agreement for which and extended license can be purchased.

    Permitted iconThe Standard License is for a single user.

    Permitted iconUse up to 20 icons in digital items for sale, like themes and templates.

    Prohibited iconYou may NOT sell, sublicense, distribute or otherwise grant rights or make icons available for use by others.

    You need to buy an Extended Multi-user License to make the icons available for more than one (1) user. You need to buy an Extended Product for Sale License when the icons are being used in a digital product for sale (template or theme) and contains more than twenty (20) icons.

    2. Extended Multi-user License

    As stated in the Standard License Agreement, icons created by Dutch Icon have a non-transferable, non-exclusive, royalty-free license for a single user (licensee). Only the licensee is permitted to use the assets. The licensee is permitted to transfer files containing assets to its clients, printers or ISP, such parties shall however have no further or additional rights to use the assets and cannot access or extract the assets. There are several Extended Multi-user License options to make the assets available for more than one user in your organization:
    • 2 users
    • 3 to 6 users
    • 7 to 15 users
    • 16 to 30 users
    • 31 to 60 users
    • 61 to 120 users

    Select your amount of users from the dropdown menu on any icon collection detail page before you add the set to the shopping basket. More than 120 users? Please contact us.

    3. Extended Product for Sale License

    You need the Extended Product for Sale License when you use more than twenty (20) icons in a digital product for sale, like a template or theme; or if you would like to use icons in a non-digital product for sale, like t-shirts, smartphone cases or posters for instance. When you have purchased the Extended Product for Sale License you will be able to use up to a hundred (100) icons in 1 digital product for sale. The use of more than 100 icons is prohibited. It is not allowed to sell icons through a digital product as the main purpose either. If you would like to resell or share icons created by Dutch Icon on your website or application, please contact us here for a custom license.
